About

Built inside a design center, not a conference room.

Lotspan comes from the floor of a working residential finishing operation — flooring, cabinets, countertops, and surrounds for production homebuilders.

The problem was the stack

A thirty-year-old Windows ERP for selections. A dated lot tracker behind a login. Spreadsheets between all of it. Every status question meant a phone call; every phone call meant somebody stopped working.

When the legacy ERP announced its sunset, we made a decision: don't replace five tools with five newer tools. Replace them with one thread — the lot, and everything that happens to it, from the day the plat records to the day the last warranty item closes.

Principles we build by

  • The lot is the record. Everything traces back to it — no orphan documents, no mystery orders.
  • States commit. A status either changed or it didn't. No ambiguity, in the data or the interface.
  • Color means something. Every hue in the product maps to a lifecycle stage. When it's Oxide, it's closed.
  • Access is scoped, not trusted. Teams, builders, and crews each see exactly their slice.
  • Built on real work. Every module shipped only after it survived a real community, real buyers, and real install weeks.
